Job summary

Asana is seeking a Revenue Manager to oversee revenue recognition, contract reviews, and automation in a global finance setting. You will partner with Revenue Operations, FP&A, Legal, and Sales to drive compliant solutions and continuous process improvements. This role involves leading month-end close, SOX controls, and quarterly reporting.

The position is based in San Francisco with a hybrid schedule, commonly in-office Mon/Tue/Thu with WFH on Wednesdays and flexible Fridays depending on work.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance from a four-year university.
• 7+ years of experience; SaaS and service arrangements.
• Strong US GAAP knowledge including ASC 606.
• Experience with NetSuite, Zuora, Roadrunner CPQ.
• Experience with systems implementations and Big-4 background.
• Excellent time and project management; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead revenue close activities including variance analyses and reconciliations.
• Maintain revenue recognition policy and related policies.
• Support quarterly and annual reporting with internal controls.
• Design scalable revenue accounting solutions for new products.
• Collaborate with IT and business owners to optimize the revenue engine.
