Job summary

Riot Games in Los Angeles is seeking a Revenue Accounting Manager to lead critical areas of game revenue accounting, including life estimates, big data reconciliation, and automation for micropayments. You will collaborate with Finance, Game teams, Payments, Legal, Data, and other accounting groups globally.

The role reports to the Accounting Director and emphasizes change management, process improvement, and scale of accounting operations. A strong leader and hands-on expert is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required.
• Big 4 experience and CPA designation required.
• 6+ years progressive experience with leadership in a fast-paced multinational environment.

Responsibilities

• Understand Riot’s player life estimates and maintain it with data analysts.
• Reconcile large sales datasets across order-to-cash with international payment processors.
• Develop automated processes for large data reconciliations with the engineering team.
• Formalize technical accounting including Principal vs Agent and Cost to obtain a contract.
• Review draft contracts for technical accounting implications.
• Build risk monitoring for receivables collectability and chargebacks.
• Project manage day-to-day close and audits.
• Implement improved revenue data systems and processes.
• Mentor team staff and manage external auditors.
