Job summary

Riot Games in Los Angeles seeks a Principal Insights Analyst to lead deep game analytics for CPI, partnering with game insight teams to understand product health and player behavior across Riot’s titles. You will design scalable analytics tools and dashboards that empower stakeholders to make data-informed decisions.

You will mentor analysts on CPI and collaborate with Data Engineering to productionalize central analytics tables, while applying ML and statistical methods to forecast performance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Economics, Statistics, Physics, Mathematics or related field; 8+ years of relevant experience
• 2+ years applying analytics to games or live-service products
• Strong analytics across Tableau, SQL, Python/Pyspark
• Familiarity with game design, product strategy, and portfolio questions
• Ability to communicate analytics results to product leadership

Responsibilities

• Tackle complex game analytics problems across Riot Games portfolio
• Apply ML and statistical modeling to forecast product performance
• Develop analytics tools, dashboards, and datasets for stakeholders
• Mentor and develop game analysts on CPI
• Collaborate with Data Engineering to productionalize analytics tables
• Drive consistency and efficiency in key reports
