Job summary

Legora is scaling its finance function and seeks a senior Revenue Accounting leader to own end-to-end revenue recognition and sales commissions accounting. You will build a scalable, well-controlled, audit-ready function and set policy while reviewing contracts and coaching the team through complex transactions.

This hands-on management role requires close attention to detail, cross‑functional collaboration, and the ability to shape processes during rapid growth.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of accounting experience, starting in Big 4 audit or technical accounting.
• Deep ASC 606 and ASC 340-40 expertise in B2B SaaS with complex contracts.
• Proven track record building or scaling revenue accounting in high-growth environments.
• Experience managing and developing a team.
• Hands-on with NetSuite and Salesforce; CPA is required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Revenue Accounting globally, ensuring accurate controls and reporting across entities.
• Own ASC 606 revenue recognition for all entities, including multi-element contracts and pilots.
• Own accounting for costs to obtain contracts, capitalization and amortization patterns.
• Mentor and develop the team; establish accountability and development paths.
• Strengthen SOX readiness, process documentation, and control design.
• Represent Revenue Accounting with Finance, Sales, RevOps, and Legal.
• Run monthly and quarterly revenue close, including deferred revenue and related reconciliations.
• Collaborate with FP&A/RevOps on ARR metrics and GAAP reconciliation.
• Shape revenue and commissions processes in ERP integration with Salesforce.
