Job summary

IREN is seeking a Retirement Program Advisor to oversee US and international retirement programs, including 401(k) and group RRSP plans. You will coordinate with vendors, ensure compliance, and manage communications across jurisdictions to support effective retirement governance.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of 401(k) plan management experience and global retirement offerings.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks with deadlines.
• Extensive benefits administration experience and regulatory knowledge.
• Experience managing external vendor relationships and HRIS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Manage US 401(k) defined contribution plans and international retirement programs.
• Coordinate with plan vendors, recordkeepers, and external providers for service delivery and cost control.
• Engage with legal counsel on plan documents, amendments, contracts, and participant communications.
• Benchmark retirement offerings against peers and advise on plan design and employer match.
• Ensure ERISA, IRS, CRA, and other regulatory compliance across jurisdictions.
• Prepare regulatory filings (IRS Form 5500, DOL, etc.) and retirement communications.
• Lead retirement plan M&A activities and maintain plan documentation across entities.
• Support data integrity and governance for retirement programs globally.
