Job summary

Amazon is seeking a senior professional to support domestic and international retail expansion through strategic real estate leadership. The role partners with land sellers, landlords, developers and local authorities to secure agreements and drive profitable growth of the WWGS portfolio.

You will manage a dynamic portfolio, lead negotiations, and coordinate with internal teams to execute complex projects while traveling roughly 20% of the time.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, management, real estate, or related field.
• 8+ years in Retail Real Estate with site selection and acquisitions for large, complex projects.
• Experience with development of retail network strategies.
• Extensive experience in negotiating and acquiring commercial real estate properties, including land acquisitions, ground leases, and building leases.

Responsibilities

• Lead site identification, engagement, negotiation and execution of land acquisitions and leases.
• Manage a varied and evolving real estate portfolio that supports rapid growth plans.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Network Planning, Pre Construction, Design, Finance, Legal, and Construction.
• Travel approximately 20% domestically.

Education

Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, management, real estate, or related field

Master's Degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or related fields
