Job summary

Viatris is seeking a Director of Global Technical Services - Respiratory to lead technical activities for externally manufactured products and drive tech transfer projects to meet launch targets. You will collaborate with Respiratory R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sourcing to ensure robust processes, cost competitiveness, and compliant operations.

The role requires strong technical leadership, experience with CMOs, CAPA and risk management, and effective communication with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related science field.
• Experience in pharmaceutical development and GMP manufacturing, preferably respiratory.
• Ability to lead matrix teams and manage CMOs/vendors.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Knowledge of risk management and CAPA processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical aspects of externally manufactured respiratory products.
• Partner with R&D, Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain, Sourcing for contract manufacturing.
• Manage CMOs/vendors with project timelines and budget adherence.
• Drive CAPA closure and root cause investigations.
