Job summary

Avasant, LLC seeks a Global Research & Insights Leader to drive market-facing research, lead a distributed team across US and India time zones, and ensure timely, rigorous publications for sales and consulting teams. The role blends industry analysis with client engagement and strategic thought leadership.

You will oversee research operations, coordinate with executives, and maintain independent, objective insights to support Avasant’s advisory services and Radarview offerings.

Qualifications

• 15-20 years of experience in technology research, industry analysis, benchmarking, or research-led consulting.
• Hands-on experience producing and publishing research, ideally on technology or IT and business services providers.
• Experience leading people or leading projects with several contributors.
• Strong people skills: you build trust easily with analysts, consultants and salespeople.
• Clear, confident writing and presenting.
• Well organized, able to run several projects at once and hit deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills – written and verbal, in English.

Responsibilities

• Industry and Analyst Relations engagement: Participate/attend provider analyst events, speak at events, join client/prospect calls, turn research into sales material, train sales teams.
• Publishing: Own the publishing process from draft to release, edit, review, fact-check, sign-off; collaborate with Marketing to distribute research.
• Consulting support (insights): Provide consultants with research benchmarks and data for proposals and client work; set up efficient request processes; document learnings for future research.
• People: Lead and coach a global team of analysts across US and India time zones; set goals and provide feedback; maintain independence of research.
• Research operations: Manage research calendar, propose topics, keep methodology and quality checks consistent, ensure smooth provider briefings, manage tools and AI usage.
