Etsy is looking for a Senior Counsel, Global Regulatory, to provide legal guidance on regulatory matters affecting the business in a complex global environment. You will be a key partner across teams, helping navigate legal challenges while focusing on business objectives.

With 7+ years of regulatory experience, your expertise will help shape Etsy's strategies and ensure compliance with laws across multiple jurisdictions. The role involves regular engagement with regulatory bodies and collaboration across various functions within the company.

This position is full-time, requiring attendance at the Brooklyn office once or twice a week and offers a competitive salary alongside an equity package.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of regulatory or litigation experience in law firm, government, or in-house.
• Consumer-facing tech experience is required.
• Familiarity with U.S. and global frameworks on content regulation and moderation.

Responsibilities

• Advise business teams and support regulatory engagement globally.
• Lead responses to regulatory inquiries and investigations.
• Collaborate with the Public Policy team on new laws.
