Takeda in Boston, MA seeks the Head of Global Regulatory Asset Policy to lead GRPI’s global asset-facing regulatory policy capability. This role expands the US asset policy model into a cohesive global capability for development programs, while preserving regional expertise.

You will drive strategy, standards, and performance, provide senior policy leadership to therapeutic areas, and ensure policy mechanics align with portfolio needs and external engagement strategies.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of leadership in regulatory policy, strategy, or external engagement.
• Deep expertise in global drug development and regulatory strategy.
• Ability to translate complex policy issues into clear recommendations.
• Experience working across regions and functions in a matrixed org.

Responsabilités

• Own strategy, operating model, priorities, standards, and performance of Global Regulatory Asset Policy.
• Provide senior policy leadership to units, leads, strategists, and product teams.
• Deploy asset policy expertise according to portfolio needs and milestones.
• Maintain US policy expertise while building EU/global capability.
• Connect asset challenges with regulatory precedent, legislation, and engagement.
• Partner with regional policy leads to reflect local expectations.
• Collaborate with Head of Global R&D Policy to integrate asset and enterprise policy.
• Establish intake, prioritization, assignment, quality, impact measurement, and closure standards.
