Job summary

Rakuten International is seeking a Real Estate & Facilities Business Manager to act as the strategic operational lead for the Global Real Estate & Facilities department. You will partner with Finance, HR, Operations, and Sustainability to drive efficiency and executive reporting, translating data into action.

In this role you will oversee lease data governance, KPIs, and cross-functional initiatives, including hybrid work policy implementation and ESG reporting, while leveraging AI to streamline

Qualifications

• Excellent ability to synthesize complex data into executive-level presentations.
• Strong understanding of real estate financial metrics, lease administration, and budgets.
• Proven track record of cross-functional relationship management and stakeholder influence.
• Data visualization and reporting proficiency with Excel/Tableau; attention to lease/portfolio data.

Responsibilities

• Lead Monthly/Quarterly Business Reviews and executive presentations; translate portfolio data into compelling narratives.
• Act as primary liaison between Real Estate and Finance, HR, Operations, Sustainability, and other units.
• Oversee lease information integrity and portfolio data for audits and strategic decisions.
• Manage department cadence; coordinate regional facilities teams to align global standards and reporting.
• Monitor KPIs on facility performance, space utilization, and portfolio costs to shape strategy.
• Assist Head of Real Estate with cross-department initiatives, including hybrid work policy and ESG reporting.
• Leverage AI tools to automate reporting and enhance data analysis; improve workflows.
• Coordinate Global Real Estate & Facilities Team All-Hands; prepare agendas and visuals.
