Job summary

Rakuten International is seeking a Manager, HRBP Data & Analytics to lead a data-first analytics capability for the HRBP organization. You will design dashboards, predictive analytics, and executive-ready analyses to enable proactive HR and business decisions.

The role blends hands-on analytics with scalable systems, reports, and AI-enabled workflows. You will partner with HRBP Ops to measure ROI, benchmark workforce trends, and build self-serve analytics for HRBPs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in an analytical or HR-related field.
4-7 years of experience in HR analytics, people analytics, BI, or similar.
Demonstrated experience building dashboards and reporting solutions (Workday reporting, Power BI, Tableau, Qualtrics, or similar).
Experience with Workday HCM data structures and reporting.
Experience with enterprise HRIS platforms such as Workday HCM, including data structures and reporting.
Track record of ROI and impact analysis for programs or initiatives.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with experience presenting data to executive audiences.
Ability to independently extract and analyze HRIS data from source systems.

Responsibilities

Design and deliver analytics informing HR and executive decisions across the organization.
Build scalable predictive analytics with market data to anticipate workforce needs.
Partner to evaluate HR products/projects, building ROI models and feedback loops.
Translate data into narratives for executive decisions and go/no-go investments.
Create bespoke dashboards and reporting infrastructure for HRBPs and executives.
Act as embedded analytical resource within the HRBP team and ensure data accessibility.
