Job summary

Sanofi in Cambridge, MA is seeking a Global Rare Diseases Therapeutic Area Head for LSDs and Cablivi. The role leads global strategy, P&L, and launches across markets, reporting to the Global Head of Rare Diseases.

You will drive portfolio strategy, coordinate with markets and global functions, and build a high-caliber team to advance therapies like venglustat, Fabrazyme, Cerezyme, and Cablivi worldwide.

Qualifications

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• MBA, MS or PhD in life science is preferred.
• Extensive and diverse industry experience: 15+ years in pharma, including US markets.
• Leadership and brand management experience in US/key markets.
• Experience managing global brands is preferred.
• Launch and pre‑launch experience in US/key markets is required.
• Strong credibility in P&L management.
• Cross‑functional leadership and stakeholder engagement experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% and possess a valid passport.

Responsibilities

• Drive Global P&L accountability and strategic/financial planning for LSDs and Cablivi brands.
• Define brand strategies for LSds+ Cablivi portfolio across markets.
• Lead global launches and pre-launch activities in GD3 and Fabry.
• Ensure go-to-market models are optimized and AI-generated content is used.
• Direct portfolio-level, cross-LSD market shaping initiatives.
• Prepare IR materials with clear LSD narrative for earnings calls.
• Build and develop a high-performing, collaborative team.
