Job summary

General Dynamics Information Technology, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to oversee operations, maintenance, and support of rapid deployment radar systems across domestic and international locations.

You will inspect, service, and repair equipment, diagnose issues, and provide SME analysis for current program challenges. The role requires a SECRET clearance, a related degree or equivalent training, and the ability to travel up to 50% with overseas assignments as needed.

Qualifications

• Current DoW SECRET clearance or ability to obtain.
• Bachelor’s degree or four years of equivalent military/technical training in radio frequency, electronics, or radars.
• Travel – up to 50%.
• Four (4) years of relevant experience or combined education performing administration, maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and operation of radar systems.
• Flexibility to travel overseas as required.
• Proficiency in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving hardware, software, and operating system issues.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and administer expeditionary radar systems.
• Inspect, service, and repair systems up to depot level.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, and OS issues.
• Install, initialize, and operate equipment at domestic and international work locations.
• Assist in transitioning capabilities to permanent international sites or demobilizing/redeploying equipment.
• Provide SME analysis for program equipment challenges.
• Document and track support calls using ticketing systems.
