Job summary

Sotera Health is seeking a Manager of Radiation Safety to lead global regulatory compliance for its irradiation facilities. This role reports to the Director of EH&S and can be located in multiple US regions including Chicagoland, IL.

You will develop standards, provide training, and oversee audits across facilities. Requirements include a Bachelor's degree in a technical field and 5+ years in Radiation Safety with NRC Part 36/37 knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline preferred.
• Five or more years’ experience in Radiation Safety and Radiation Licensing requirements.
• Strong knowledge of Federal, state, and local Radiation Safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Support ongoing implementation of the Corporate EH&S and Radiation Safety System at irradiation facilities.
• Provide training and training materials to facilities for required safety topics.
• Assist facility Radiation Safety Officers to improve safety awareness.
