Sotera Health is seeking a Manager of Radiation Safety to oversee corporate radiation protection programs across global facilities. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local requirements and supports training, audits, and incident investigations. The position can reside in several U.S.

locations, with about 20% overnight travel. Reporting to the Director of EH&S, you will collaborate with Operations, Engineering, and QA to sustain safety standards and regulatory readiness for

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in a technical discipline preferred.
• Five or more years of experience in Radiation Safety.
• Strong knowledge of Federal, state, and local Radiation Safety regulations.
• Experience with NRC 10 CFR Part 36 and 37 is preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Support corporate EH&S and Radiation Safety System implementation at irradiation facilities.
• Provide training materials to facilities for safety topics.
• Assist Radiation Safety Officers to improve safety awareness.
• Support Radiation Safety Management Programs at facilities.
• Coordinate inspections and corporate audits; follow up on items with management.
• Prepare license applications and amendments, and regulatory reports.
