Job summary

Google is seeking a Global Commodity Manager for Rack Power, Infrastructure Supply Chain and Manufacturing Operations in Sunnyvale, CA. Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering field or equivalent practical experience.
• 7 years of experience in procurement and supply chain management.
• Experience in commodity management or sourcing with data center rack power conversion or power back-up solutions, including agreement negotiations, pricing negotiations, assurance of supply, capacity planning and supplier development.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple projects and suppliers, negotiating contracts and master supply agreements to secure favorable pricing and terms.
• Lead cross-functional teams through supplier selection for new platforms and strategies.
• Oversee operational aspects of the supply chain, including schedules, capacity, and risk communication to management.
• Mitigate supply chain risks and measure partner performance through business reviews.
• Maintain industry expertise to inform sourcing strategies and negotiations.
