Job summary

Elanco, a global animal health leader, is seeking an experienced R&D Project Manager in Indianapolis. You will guide complex global projects from concept to completion, interfacing with Regulatory, Manufacturing, R&D, and Marketing teams.

The role blends science with strategic project execution within a hybrid work environment. You will own project plans, timelines, budgets, and risk management while driving cross-functional collaboration and ensuring compliance with GMP, GLP, and GCP standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a scientific or related field.
• 8–10 years of relevant experience in project management or a related scientific role.
• Deep understanding of veterinary drug development process and regulatory requirements (GCP/GLP/GMP).
• Proven ability to lead global, cross-functional teams and influence without direct authority.

Responsibilities

• Manage complex Global R&D projects from concept to completion.
• Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets; monitor progress and risks.
• Coordinate regulatory submissions and cross-functional collaboration across Regulatory, Manufacturing, R&D, and Marketing.
• Proactively identify risks and implement contingency plans to keep projects on track.
