Pfizer is seeking a Director, R&D EHS Program Lead to Head the IH program and lead EH&S across R&D operations. This role drives a global Community of Practice, partners with enterprise EH&S, and delivers portfolio-wide EH&S performance insights.

The position commands Director-level influence, oversight of risk, and governance across multiple sites with a hybrid work arrangement; collaboration with senior leaders is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in industrial/occupational hygiene, environmental/occupational health, chemistry, engineering, or a closely related scientific discipline.
• 10+ years of progressive industrial-hygiene and EH&S experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or another life sciences/high-hazard, regulated environment.
• Demonstrated Director-level EH&S leadership across multiple sites at an above-site or enterprise level.

Responsibilities

• Lead IH subject matter for GWE R&D and manage exposure programs across sites.
• Serve on the GWE R&D Leadership Team and enterprise Safety, Environmental Operations governance.
• Design and govern exposure-assessment programs including air, surface and personal monitoring.
