Job summary

Valeo is seeking an R&D Director for Data Center & BESS in the United States. The role leads the global technology roadmap for liquid cooling and power supply solutions for hyperscalers and battery energy storage systems, building the R&D organization, managing budgets, and guiding regional teams.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or Master’s degree in Thermal Engineering, Electromechanics, or Power Electronics.
• Proven experience leading R&D projects or platforms.
• Strong knowledge of liquid cooling technologies and electrical architectures of Data Centers and BESS.

Responsibilities

• Define global R&D roadmap and PoCs for DLC/PSU solutions for Data Centers and BESS.
• Design reusable technology building blocks (architecture, patents) to maximize competitiveness.
• Lead global R&D organization, manage engineering budget, headcount and regional teams.
• Define Make-or-Buy strategy with Procurement and identify strategic partners.
