Job summary

Valeo, a leading automotive technology company, seeks an R&D Director for Data Center & BESS based in the United States. You will define and lead the global technology roadmap for liquid cooling and power supply solutions for Data Centers and Battery Energy Storage Systems, structuring the R&D organization and guiding international teams.

You will manage budgets, build strategic partnerships, and drive a standards-driven culture to keep Valeo at the forefront of greener, safer mobility.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree (or Master's) in Thermal Engineering, Electromechanics, or Power Electronics.
• Proven experience leading R&D projects and/or platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define global R&D roadmap for DLC and PSU solutions for Data Centers and BESS.
• Lead PoCs and support RFQs with hyperscaler customers.
• Design reusable technology building blocks to maximize competitiveness and reduce time-to-market.
• Manage global R&D organization and budget, develop regional technical teams.
