Job summary

Amphenol Cable Backplane Systems (CBS) seeks a Global Quality Manager to lead the end-to-end quality strategy for CBS across NPI and volume manufacturing. You will drive customer satisfaction, prevent field failures, and guide a global quality team with strong APQP and PPAP experience.

Responsibilities include defining QMS, coordinating with suppliers, and deploying SPC-based improvements. Worldwide travel (25–40%) is expected to align with program needs.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (EE/ME/IE) required; MS/MBA preferred.
• 10–15+ years in Quality leadership across multi-site electronics manufacturing.
• Expertise in APQP, PPAP, SPC, MSA, FMEA, DOE and reliability testing.

Responsibilities

• Define global QMS, policies and KPIs; standardize across sites and suppliers.
• Own customer quality interface; lead executive reviews and quality agreements.
• Embed APQP/PPAP, CTQs, and gated readiness in NPI programs; drive Cp/Cpk and MSA.
