Job summary

Gilbarco Veeder-Root, a Vontier company, seeks a Director of Global Quality to develop and execute the global quality strategy for fueling solutions. You will lead the deployment of the global quality system and drive improvement across design, manufacturing, and service, partnering with senior leaders and cross-functional teams.

You will oversee ISO 9001 compliance, implement KPIs, manage supplier quality, and lead audits while traveling up to 50% to propel continuous quality improvements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
• 8+ years in a technical role designing and optimizing products and/or manufacturing processes.
• 5+ years in a quality management leadership role.
• In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and methodologies (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Strong project management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated success collaborating cross-functionally to solve business problems.
• Excellent communication skills with diverse audiences, including global teams and customers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a focused global quality strategy aligned to business objectives and customer expectations.
• Lead the deployment and ongoing improvement of the Vontier Reliability System.
• Define and manage a department-level quality deployment plan with targets and resources.
• Partner with product management, engineering, procurement, manufacturing, and customer support to embed quality practices.
• Oversee the quality system, including ISO 9001 compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Lead customer defect tracking and corrective action processes with timely communication.
• Develop and maintain quality KPIs, dashboards, and data analytics.
• Strengthen supplier quality management with monitoring and improvements.
• Plan and support internal and external audits; ensure closure of corrective actions.
• Lead and develop quality professionals and report to senior leadership with insights.
