Role Summary

ETS is uniquely positioned to enable the energy transition and decarbonization journey of our customers. Role Purpose

The Quality and Compliance Director will be responsible for ensuring that ETS meets all legal and regulatory obligations and that all sites adhere to ETS and sector standards. The purpose of this role is to improve quality and compliance performance across ETS globally by developing and deploying quality strategies, processes, and standards; strengthening local and global capability; coordinating global quality teams; and leading the development of an electronic global quality management system (eQMS).

Key Activities
Your Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement the ETS quality and compliance strategy in partnership with key stakeholders, covering supply, group, and sales quality processes.
  • Develop and deploy global, sector‑specific, fit‑for‑purpose quality standards in compliance with customer, legal, and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead global quality and compliance activities: coordinate development of the ETS quality and compliance community, establish global metrics and targets, foster collaboration and best‑practice sharing, coach and support regional leads, and build global and sector‑specific quality capability.
  • Develop internal audit capability and alignment with other global audit functions.
Quality And Compliance Best Practice, Process, And Standards
  • Track and communicate evolving market, legal, and regulatory requirements in collaboration with Regulatory and Validation teams.
  • Develop and deploy global best practices, processes, and standards for quality and compliance.
  • Lead the planning and execution of a global audit program for quality and compliance across ETS.
  • Inspire and encourage colleagues to continuously improve quality and compliance practices.
  • Provide teams with guidance, advice, and hands‑on support.
  • Collaborate across ETS and Spirax Group functions to drive consistency and excellence.
Performance, KPIs, And Reporting
  • Create and align annual plans and priorities.
  • Monitor KPIs and performance metrics; analyze results to drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage global quality and compliance reporting processes.

Requirements
  • Master’s degree preferred; Bachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or a related field required. Equivalent practical experience will be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in quality management, including global or multi‑site leadership roles.
  • Experience in manufacturing or regulated industries (such as aerospace, defense, or made to order/discrete manufacturing) strongly preferred.
  • Professional certifications such as CQE, CQA, CMQ/OE, or Six Sigma (Green or Black Belt) strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.Proven experience developing and deploying quality management systems (ISO 9001 and related sector standards).
  • Track record of building quality capability and leading global teams.
  • Experience developing and executing audit programs and engaging multiple levels of stakeholders across functions and regions.
  • Able and willing to travel up to 50%, including international travel.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship, both now and in the future.
