Job summary

General Motors in Warren, MI offers an entry-level Global Purchasing & Supply Chain Rotational Program beginning in January or July 2027. You will rotate every six months across Purchasing, Logistics and other business areas, driving value through timely delivery, cost efficiency and cross-functional collaboration.

The program emphasizes self-motivation, analytical mindset, and independent decision-making as you work on GM’s vehicle programs and global supply chain strategies.

Qualifications

• Pursuit of a Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Logistics, Packaging, Procurement/ Acquisitions and Contract Management, Business, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, General Engineering, Business Analytics, MIS
• Graduating between December 2026 and June 2027
• Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week during the summer months

Responsibilities

• Source key parts, systems and technologies for GM vehicles and future EV products
• Plan and support vehicle production to ensure right parts at the right time
• Use data to manage demand, material changes and day-to-day supply chain operations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and suppliers to balance cost, quality, timing and innovation
