Job summary

Mark VII - Clean Cars® seeks a Purchasing Manager to lead the purchasing function, stabilizing and scaling the manufacturing supply chain. You will drive end-to-end procurement, negotiate with top suppliers, and oversee international logistics while ensuring zero downtime due to shortages.

You will collaborate with Engineering, Finance, and Operations on standard costs, make-vs-buy decisions, and verifiable savings against budget across all purchased materials and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration.
• Experience: 5–7 years in industrial manufacturing procurement, with 2+ years leading a procurement team.
• Strong negotiation track record on complex supplier contracts and cost-saving initiatives.
• CPSM, CPIM, or similar certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of buyers and oversee end-to-end procurement activities.
• Identify and onboard international suppliers to diversify the supply base and optimize costs.
• Negotiate Make vs. Buy, and manage total cost of ownership across direct materials and services.
• Oversee import logistics, compliance, and incoterms for global sourcing.
• Drive cost reduction and ensure alignment with budget and NPI initiatives.
