Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a purchasing role, ideally in an international organization.
• Experience with SAP and Excel for master data maintenance.
• Ability to follow up on POs and communicate revised dates to internal customers.

Responsibilities

• Follow up on open Purchase Orders with vendors to ensure on-time delivery.
• Communicate revised promise dates to internal customers.
• Review demand forecasting and acquire stock accordingly.
• Analyze part classification based on sales history and forecast.
• Monitor daily purchasing to ensure correct parts for delivery dates.
• Coordinate with Bystronic subsidiaries on fulfillment and drop-ship orders.
• Source vendors to maintain steady supply.
• Reconcile freight invoices with Accounting.
• Maintain master data and BOM for local parts.
• Assist in system development of new part numbers and master data.
