Job summary

BioMed Central Ltd. is hiring an Implementation Specialist to support Journal publishing workflows across London and Pune in a hybrid arrangement. The role focuses on gathering requirements, setting up peer review systems, and training stakeholders.

You will monitor quality with cross-functional teams and drive improvements across multiple journals. The position requires strong organization, communication, and analytical skills, plus experience handling global stakeholders and complex projects

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects with global stakeholders.
• Proficient in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and training.
• Strong communication and analytical skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Gather system requirements from publishers, editors and service providers.
• Set up, maintain and administer peer review systems.
• Conduct presentations and training sessions for internal and external stakeholders.
• Ensure quality of article-level activities and act as escalation point for journals.
• Develop and maintain relationships with stakeholders across publishing, editorial, production and technology teams.
• Maintain journal-specific records and documentation.
• Collaborate with Automation Analysis to gather quality insights and monitor metrics.
• Coordinate with service providers and teams to address root causes of issues.
• Advocate for continuous improvement, quality and efficiency.
