Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a scientific or healthcare-related field is required; advanced degree is a plus.
• 5+ years in scientific publications, medical communications, or related publication operations.
• Experience managing complex publication projects from planning through submission.
• Experience with manuscript and congress submission processes and related materials.
• Ability to coordinate activities across cross-functional teams, authors, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operational management of publication activities, timelines, milestones, risks, and communications.
• Coordinate publication workstreams with internal teams, external authors, and vendors for timely execution.
• Manage publication development and submission activities, including documentation and disclosures.
• Oversee publication vendor workflows to meet quality standards and budgets.
• Draft and coordinate communications, meeting materials, and status reports for stakeholders.
• Maintain publication records and ensure compliance with SOPs and guidelines.
• Identify challenges and implement process improvements for planning and execution.
• Support congress-related activities, including tracking acceptance notices and materials.
