Job summary

Leidos is seeking an experienced Program Security Officer (PSO) to provide security support for a U.S. Government program. The PSO will apply multiple security disciplines and coordinate security activities for classified programs in domestic and international locations.

Qualified candidates will have prior PSO/SCIF/ASO experience, overseas/OCONUS travel capability (50%), and current TS/SCI with Polygraph. A bachelor’s degree and 8–12 years related experience are valued.

Responsibilities

• Apply knowledge of physical, personnel, information systems, and industrial security to develop and implement comprehensive security plans and measures.
• Conduct security assessments at potential domestic and international work locations.
• Plan, coordinate, and manage security support for classified activities per ICD 705, NISPOM, and DoD/DoS force protection standards.
• Assist with development, review, coordination, and execution of critical program security documentation.
• Monitor, report, and track corrective actions resulting from compliance reviews and ensure timely notification of security matters.
• Support domestic locations when not working abroad, including training new security staff.
