Job summary

Skyward Specialty is seeking a Global Property Claims Adjuster to join our Property Claims team. This role focuses on commercial property claims, with exposure to global, excess and surplus lines, and layered and shared market placements.

You will manage a caseload with guidance from senior professionals and collaborate with independent adjusters, market partners, underwriting, legal and reinsurers. You will handle reserves, review coverage issues, and support complex claims while leveraging AI

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of commercial property claims experience preferred.
• Adjuster license in Texas.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and the ability to learn claims systems and other technology.

Responsibilities

• Manage an assigned caseload of commercial property claims with guidance and oversight.
• Review policy terms and assist in evaluating coverage issues.
• Prepare claim correspondence and assist with coverage communications.
• Establish and maintain claim reserves with guidance on complex matters.
• Coordinate with independent and third-party adjusters in investigation and evaluation of claims.
• Maintain timely, accurate, and well-documented claim files.
• Communicate with insureds, brokers, adjusters, and claim partners regarding status and next steps.
