Job summary

International Development Group (IDG) seeks a junior-to-mid Sr Associate to join our Arlington, VA team. This full-time, hybrid role entails in-office days Tue–Thu and remote Mon–Fri, reporting to a Senior Specialist or Manager, and supporting proposal teams and various ad hoc tasks.

You will assist with past performance write-ups, corporate capabilities, resumes, recruitment, technical writing, research, cost proposals, and budget monitoring for a diverse project portfolio worldwide.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of international development or state/local government project experience.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required.
• Familiarity with USG, state or local donor-funded projects is a plus.
• Fluency in French, Spanish, Russian or Arabic is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support proposal teams and other ad hoc new business activities as requested.
• Review and process monthly field office expenses and assist with budget monitoring.
• Draft client approval requests and format/copy-edit client deliverables.
• Liaise with field office operations and finance staff; manage travel logistics for staff and consultants.
• Engage in pre-RFP capture activities and support implementation through closeout.
