Job summary

International Development Group (IDG) is seeking a Senior Associate in Arlington, VA for a hybrid, full-time role. The candidate will support proposal teams and new business activities, coordinate with the Director of New Business, and assist in budget monitoring, formatting deliverables, and subcontractor communications.

The role requires 2–3 years in international development, a relevant Bachelor's degree, strong MS Office skills, and excellent written and verbal communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in international development, state or local government project work.
• Proficiency in MS Office, especially Word and Excel; strong Excel and quantitative skills.
• Fluency in French, Spanish, Russian, or Arabic is desirable but not required.

Responsibilities

• Support new business initiatives under the Proposals Manager and Director of New Business.
• Engage in pre-RFP capture activities and research; support ad hoc new business tasks.
• Review and process monthly field office expenses and draft client approval requests.
• Format and copy-edit client deliverables; liaise with field office operations and finance staff.
• Coordinate travel logistics for employees and consultants.
