Job summary

Freeport-McMoRan Inc. seeks a Manager of Project Materials to lead global materials management for capital projects. The role oversees storage, receipt, issuance, procurement, inventory control, and planning, with a focus on safety, cost, and schedule objectives.

Travel to Bagdad and other FMI locations is required as needed. You will develop plans, standard reporting, and interfaces between materials systems, while partnering with Global Supply Chain to optimize resources and maintain inventory

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management, systems & project management, and analysis projects.
• Strong collaboration with construction teams and vendors.
• Knowledge of warehouse management, material receiving, and OS&D reporting (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee global execution of capital project materials management activities.
• Develop and maintain standardized material status reporting for visibility.
• Plan and execute logistics for capital projects including packaging and delivery.
• Design material tracking and control systems to enhance efficiency and execution.
• Ensure compliance with site requirements and optimize resource utilization across projects.
• Evaluate team performance and communicate recommendations to leadership.
