Job summary

Dematic in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Project Manager to lead automation projects within the Flexible Automation team. You will oversee multiple concurrent plans, coordinate with customers, and drive milestones from scope to delivery.

You will align cross-functional teams, manage budgets, report progress to executives, and seek process improvements. A Bachelor's degree and 2–5 years PM experience are required; travel up to 25% including international.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years of project management experience.
• Experience managing people or processes.
• Experience in PM, product development lifecycle, or process management.
• Experience with automation projects (AGVs, AS/RS, conveyors, WMS, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Manage overall teams and project items for automation projects.
• Develop and manage multiple concurrent project plans and monitor progress.
• Interface with customer as primary contact.
• Identify and manage scope, time, risk, and stakeholders.
• Communicate project status and schedule to executives and team members.
• Monitor financial performance of projects.
• Align cross-functional teams to resolve priorities and drive results.
• Drive milestones and deliverables to closure.
• Provide regular status updates and documentation.
