Job summary

Cabot Corporation, a leading global specialty chemicals and performance materials company based in Boston, is seeking a Senior Global Project Manager. You will lead large, complex, high-value projects across regions, ensuring alignment with strategy, delivering on time, within scope, and on budget.

Travel and multi-site coordination required. You will drive cross-functional collaboration across engineering, procurement, operations, and external partners, manage budgets and schedules, and mentor

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with 10+ years of related experience.
• Graduate degree preferred.
• PMP certification or a professional engineering license (or foreign equivalent) is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Define project goals and deliverables aligned with business objectives.
• Develop project scope with teams to satisfy objectives.
• Execute projects following global governance, standards, and tools.
• Lead across organizational boundaries and manage cross-functional relationships.
• Develop and monitor budgets and schedules, forecast completion, and mitigate risks.
• Provide input on team members' performance and coach as needed.
• Conduct negotiations and oversee outside contractors assigned to projects.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations and standards.
• Travel and/or relocation may be required to supervise site activities.
