Job summary

Emerson is seeking a Lead Engineer - Project Management to drive complex engineering projects in our FLMC Global Sustaining Team from initiation through completion. You will align scope, schedule, budget, and quality while coordinating with global teams and customers to ensure on-time delivery.

You will manage risks, mentor junior staff, and uphold safety and process standards in a fast-paced, multinational environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electronics engineering or related technical discipline.
• 6–8 years of project management experience in industrial automation or manufacturing settings.
• Experience leading projects from initiation to implementation.

Responsibilities

• Develop comprehensive project plans including scope, schedules, resources, costs, and risks.
• Lead kickoff meetings and align with stakeholders across functions.
• Monitor progress using project management frameworks and tools.
• Ensure adherence to processes and quality standards.
• Serve as main customer contact throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate with procurement and cross-functional teams for delivery.
