Job summary

Nexus Circular LLC seeks a Project Engineering Manager to own all engineering on large capital projects exceeding $100M. You will lead a multi‑discipline team from FEED to handover, delivering safe, compliant, and constructible designs while standardizing engineering systems across projects.

You will provide technical authority, drive execution plans, and manage interfaces with EPCs, licensors, and vendors, ensuring alignment with safety and project objectives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical, or related)
• Chartered Engineer or Professional Engineer (PE) preferred
• 10+ years of experience delivering major capital projects, preferably in chemical, petrochemical, oil & gas, or complex process industries

Responsibilities

• Act as the client Project Engineering Manager for all project engineering and technical matters from front‑end development through construction, commissioning, startup, and handover to operations.
• Provide technical leadership and assurance across all disciplines including Process, Mechanical, Piping & Layout, Electrical, Instrumentation & Process Control, and Utilities.
• Define, implement, and govern project‑specific engineering execution plans, processes, and procedures; develop corporate standards and tools.
• Lead a multi‑disciplinary, multi‑location engineering team and coordinate interfaces with procurement, construction, commissioning, and operations.
• Ensure engineering deliverables are construction‑ready and aligned with project schedule, cost, and constructability objectives.
• Demonstrate strong governance of process safety management (HAZID/HAZOP, LOPA, SIL, MOC) and oversee risk mitigation across phases.
