Job summary

3M is seeking a Production Planning Analyst for our on-site team in Menomonie, WI. You will plan and schedule production work centers, manage material procurement, and coordinate with cross-functional teams to balance service levels, inventory, and cost against targets.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in planning or supply chain, with strong Excel and ERP experience, and a track record of driving improvements in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher (completed and verified) from an accredited institution.
• Two (2) years of experience in planning, inventory control or supply chain in any sector or manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule production work centers to meet customer requirements and improve efficiency.
• Procure material and communicate with suppliers for future requirements.
• Collaborate with Production Planning, Lean Value Stream, and Operations teams.
• Balance service, inventory and cost to meet targets with cross-functional teams.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve customer service and inventory investment.
