BIC World is seeking a Manufacturing Manager in Washington to oversee the end-to-end production process for lighters, ensuring safety, quality and on-time delivery. The role involves planning, coordinating resources, and leading a manufacturing team to optimize output and cost efficiency.

The ideal candidate has proven leadership, strong knowledge of manufacturing standards, budgeting experience, and willingness to travel domestically and internationally. Union environment experience is a plus.

Formación

• Proven work experience as a manufacturing manager or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and industry standards.
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills.
• Good knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Understanding of quality standards and systems.
• Experience with budget and business plan development.
• BS degree in Business Management, Engineering or relevant field.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Experience managing in a union environment is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Plan, organize and direct day-to-day operations to exceed customer expectations.
• Increase production capacity and flexibility while controlling costs and maintaining quality.
• Oversee production output, product quality and on-time shipping.
• Allocate resources and maximize asset utilization.
• Align manufacturing activities with senior management initiatives.
• Monitor operations and implement corrective actions as needed.
• Collect and analyze data to identify waste or overtime.
• Develop systems to track productivity, standards and performance targets.
• Keep up to date with production management best practices and regulations.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and quality guidelines.
• Hire, train and supervise manufacturing staff.
• Manage budgets and manufacturing costs.
• Resolve disputes within the manufacturing team.
• Implement process improvements and new procedures.
• Prepare and present reports on manufacturing progress to senior management.
