Job summary

Westlake Chemical seeks a product stewardship professional to lead regulatory compliance and materials management programs. You will ensure products meet global regulatory requirements, support SDS/labeling initiatives, and guide risk assessment across the product lifecycle.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or environmental science and 5–7 years’ experience, with strong communication and collaboration skills to work across regions and functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Environmental, or related science with 5–7 years in product stewardship.
• Knowledge of federal and state laws governing product safety (EPA, FIFRA, Pesticides, Biocides).
• Strong written and oral communication and ability to collaborate across functions.

Responsibilities

• Lead and implement product regulatory compliance and materials management programs.
• Support safety data sheet and labeling programs and raw material introductions.
• Provide regulatory and technical information to internal teams for global regulatory matters.
• Communicate health, safety and environmental measures to manage risk across product lifecycle.
