HARMAN is seeking an experienced Product Safety & Incident Response Counsel to advise the Lifestyle division and SBUs on product liability, safety, and consumer protection across global markets. You will guide cross‑functional teams, identify regulatory risks, and help shape product development with practical, risk‑based legal counsel.

The role requires a JD, active bar admission, and 8+ years in in‑house or law firm settings focused on product compliance and counseling.

Formación

• Knowledge of product safety, liability and consumer protection regulations.
• Experience handling regulatory investigations and information requests.
• Ability to review and negotiate supplier and vendor agreements and licenses.
• Strong analytic and project management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Provide strategic legal guidance on global product liability, safety and consumer protection.
• Advise SBUs on evolving legal frameworks including AI, software, and connected devices.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external counsel on product-related claims and regulatory inquiries.
• Support product development with regulatory guidance and compliance reviews.
• Assist in drafting and negotiating agreements with regulatory implications.
