Job summary

Rapid Micro Biosystems seeks a Global Product Manager to own Growth Direct consumables, lead market strategy, and manage P&L across Environmental Monitoring, Water, and Sterility. You’ll collaborate with Commercial, Quality, and Ops to drive launches, lifecycle management, and cross‑functional execution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in science/engineering or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years’ Product Management experience in life science industry; biopharma/microbiology GMP preferred.
• High-volume life science consumable product management experience preferred.
• Knowledge of microbiology QC applications and GMP environments; translate needs into product requirements.
• Experience leading cross‑functional teams across Sales, Marketing, R&D, Operations, Quality, Finance.
• Hands-on success in stage‑gate commercialization of new product development and launches.
• Strong planning, project management, and leadership skills.
• Proven ability to identify opportunities, take initiative, and drive projects forward independently.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed revenue, growth, and profitability targets for Growth Direct consumables.
• Provide commercial and operational leadership for successful execution.
• Manage 4P's (product, price, placement, promotion) for consumable portfolio.
• Drive strategic planning for existing and new applications and markets.
• Develop new consumable products from initiation through launch and lifecycle management.
• Establish and manage external relationships and partnerships.
• Communicate with customers about consumable families; push internal enhancements of offerings.
• Manage P&L for Growth Direct consumables and support related projects.
