Job summary

Kate Spade New York is seeking a Coordinator of Product Development to support the development process for handbags and related categories. You will manage prototypes, samples, and milestones, while collaborating with overseas partners and the Asia PD team to ensure timely development and commercialization.

The role requires strong organization, communication skills, and experience with PLM and Microsoft Office tools in a fast‑paced, global environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of product development experience, including handbags and SLGs.
• Strong organizational, written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work with overseas partners and cross‑functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Support development activities: review prototypes/samples, milestone adherence, and sending development packages to overseas partners.
• Partner with Materials to procure sampling materials for development milestones.
• Execute, maintain and update data/tools; manage day‑to‑day communication with Asia PD team.
• Support approval processes and resolve pending items for smooth development to commercialization.
• Follow priorities set by manager; drive task completion and issue resolution.
• Understand development process and alert manager to deadlines/risks.
• Organize sample arrival/archiving; support R&D activities.
