Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or relevant discipline, or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years working knowledge in product compliance and homologation practices.
• Knowledge of EMC/Safety/Environment/Wireless homologation requirements.
• Strong writing, documentation, and public speaking skills.
• Ability to learn new skills and work cooperatively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Maintain records of global product compliance and associated technical requirements.
• Track regulatory changes and assess impact to SEL.
• Evaluate and research homologation requirements for markets and technologies.
• Sustain existing product homologation and certifications.
• Provide technical assistance as a content expert in worldwide product compliance.
• Guide engineering staff in translating compliance requirements into design.
• Support Customer Service on product compliance matters.
• Teach and advise management on product compliance issues.
