Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb is seeking a 10-week paid summer internship in Global Procurement. The program is based in Princeton/Lawrenceville, NJ, and targets students in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Business Administration, Operations Management, Marketing, Communications, or related fields.

Interns will work on impactful projects, receive coaching, and gain exposure to senior leadership within BMS Procurement.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s program majoring in Supply Chain Management, Data Science, Business Administration, Operations Management, Marketing, Communications, or related fields with an expected graduation date Spring/Summer 2028.
• Authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must include GPA on resume – minimum GPA 3.0.
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively within work/academic environments with diverse audiences.

Responsibilities

• Execute category strategy activities under the guidance of performance, operations and strategic category leaders.
• Perform value analysis on costs and supplier quotes.
• Recommend process improvements for efficiency.
• Manage day-to-day supply issues and communicate information to internal customers and suppliers.
• Support PO conversion and other non-transactional tasks.
• Communicate issues to leadership and drive for resolution.
• Manage PO changes and communicate trends.
