Job summary

Bristol Myers Squibb invites motivated students to join the Global Procurement internship for 10 weeks, offering exposure to medicines and a pathway to potential full-time opportunities. Locations include Princeton/Lawrenceville, NJ, New Brunswick, NJ, or Tampa, FL, with coaching from program leaders and cross-functional exposure.

Candidates should be pursuing degrees in Supply Chain, Data Science, Business, Operations, Marketing, Communications, or related fields, and must be eligible to work

Qualifications

• Must include GPA on resume – minimum GPA 3.0
• Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. for the duration of employment; visa sponsorship not available
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
• Proven ability to communicate effectively in work/academic settings and adapt messages for various audiences

Responsibilities

• Execute category strategy activities under guidance of category leaders
• Perform value analysis on costs and supplier quotes
• Recommend process improvements for efficiency
• Manage day-to-day supply issues and communicate with internal customers and suppliers
• Support PO conversion and other non-transactional tasks
• Communicate issues to leadership and drive for resolution
• Manage PO changes and communicate trends
