Corning is seeking a Manager, Procurement – Contingent Worker to lead global sourcing for Professional Services, manage supplier governance, and optimize programs exceeding $100M in annual spend. The role partners with HR, Legal and Finance to maximize value from services procured.

You will direct category management, contingent workforce strategies, negotiations, and performance management while building a high-performing team in a hybrid work setting in Charlotte, NC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 7+ years in procurement or supply chain management in global manufacturing or corporate setting.
• Proven cross-functional leadership in a matrix organization.
• Experience with large-scale sourcing, supplier negotiations, and contract management.
• Strategic thinking with ability to develop long-term sourcing strategies.
• Experience sourcing professional services and/or contingent workforce.
• Experience with supplier performance management and scorecards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for Professional Services.
• Oversee contingent workforce planning.
• Lead category management including market analysis, bid prep, negotiations, supplier selection.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with business units.
• Drive cost optimization and process improvements across indirect sourcing and contingent workforce.
• Build and lead a high-performing team.
