Job summary

The International Rescue Committee seeks a Senior Manager, Global Procurement to lead strategy across Travel, Translation, Insurance, Cash, HR Services and related corporate functions. You will shape multi-year category plans, drive complex sourcing, and partner with senior stakeholders to deliver value and mitigate risk across IRC's global footprint.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's degree, a CIPS Level 4 or higher, 7+ years of procurement leadership, and proven negotiation and governance

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in supply chain, business administration, or a related discipline.
CIPS Level 4 or higher, or an equivalent procurement qualification.
At least seven years of progressively responsible procurement experience, including category management and strategic sourcing.
Strong commercial judgment and a track record of improving value, supplier performance, and risk outcomes.

Responsibilities

Own and execute multi-year category strategies for Travel, Translation, Insurance, Cash, HR Services, and other categories.
Lead complex sourcing initiatives from strategy through RFx, evaluation, and negotiation.
Advise on specifications, SLAs, pricing structures, and contract models to drive performance.
Build supplier pools and governance to ensure audit-ready records and risk management.
Influence senior stakeholders with evidence-based recommendations on market options and value.
