Qualifications

• Significant experience working on humanitarian and/or development issues
• Demonstrated experience working with think tanks and policy organizations
• Track record of effective engagement in high-level policy forums
• Leading cross-functional teams and integrating perspectives to solve problems
• Policy analysis and strategy expertise; familiarity with policy-target institutions
• Experience engaging with senior policy makers
• Exceptional writing and policy-writing skills
• Commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion

Responsibilities

• Lead the Global Policy and Solutions team and manage policy experts across markets
• Ensure cohesive policy strategies and timely outputs in reports and briefs
• Collaborate with Leadership & cross-functional teams to set priorities and agenda
• Develop partnerships to advance policy solutions and fundraising objectives
• Oversee development of IRC’s signature policy products and annual analysis
• Translate analysis into policy messaging with advocacy and communications
• Brief senior officials and leaders on key policy areas
• Foster a culture of collaboration and high-impact policy work
